We follow the herds rather than the map — positioning you in the right corner of the Serengeti for the season, whether that is the calving grounds of the south or the Mara River in the north.

Met at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your lodge. A quiet evening, a full briefing with your guide, and an early night before the plains.
Day 2
Drive to Tarangire for a full day of game viewing among elephant herds and baobabs, with a picnic lunch beneath the trees.

Day 5
Dawn to dusk with the herds. In the north, hours at a river crossing point waiting for the moment. In the south, thousands of newborn calves and the predators that shadow them. Optional balloon flight at sunrise.
Day 6
A final morning on the plains, Olduvai Gorge en route, then up to the crater rim for the evening.
Day 7
An early crater descent for a half day of exceptional game viewing, then the drive to Arusha and your departure flight.
