Journey highlights
A private Fondness journey
Characterful lodges and classic tented camps in quieter corners, with en-suite comfort, pools and unhurried private game drives.
Day 1
Morning departure from Arusha and an afternoon game drive in Tarangire, famous for its elephant density and enormous baobabs. Sundowners as the light turns amber over the river.
Day 2
A long, beautiful drive north through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, pausing at the crater rim viewpoint, then descending onto the endless plains. Afternoon game drive as you arrive in the Seronera valley.
Day 3
A full day to explore — morning along the Seronera river for leopard and lion, midday under an acacia for lunch, afternoon towards the kopjes. Your guide reads the plains and follows the movement rather than a schedule.
Day 4
A last morning drive on the plains, then a stop at Olduvai Gorge to stand where the earliest human footprints were found. Continue up to the crater rim for a cool, cloud-brushed evening.
Day 5
Descend at dawn for a half-day on the crater floor — black rhino, tusker elephants, lion prides and flamingos on Lake Magadi — then climb out and drive back to Arusha for your onward flight.
