Luxury Safaris in Tanzania
Quiet, considered comfort in the wildest places
Best time
June to October, and December to March
Suited to
Couples, milestone journeys, discerning travellers
Pace
Slow — two to three nights in each camp
The experience
Luxury on safari is not marble and chandeliers. It is a camp with only eight tents, a guide who knows the resident leopard by name, and the freedom to stay out until the light is gone. We work with a small circle of owner-run lodges and mobile camps chosen for their setting, their people and their restraint.
Small, owner-run camps
We favour intimate properties with genuine hospitality over large lodges with hundreds of rooms.
Private vehicle, always
Your own 4x4 and guide means you set the timing, the stops and the length of every sighting.
Placed for the wildlife
Camps are chosen for their position in the ecosystem, not their proximity to the gate.
